My name is Trevor Jenkins, and I’m the founder of Jenkins Cooper, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion firm (DEI) helping values-based organizations implement inclusive learning and strategies on their teams.
I also serve at the Sr. Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning Manager of a global tech company with more than 13,000 employees. I have over a decade of experience working with tech and faith-based organizations, helping to create a deeper sense of belonging on their teams. DEI is about helping people understand who they are, the value they add, their limitations/bias, and their need for community within the organization. People are both gifted and limited, therefore we need each other.There are so many aspects about our identity we try to cover that ultimately affect our performance.
Jenkins Cooper desires to help leaders better understand that welcoming behavior is not just something we do during the first week someone joins our organization or community, but it is consistent behavior we constantly iterate on our teams.
